Hi, Just wondering if you had any joy with this problem. i changed the engine on my Doblo 2004 1.9 jtd and took the engine from a multipla 1.9 jtd, wont start, no fault codes, fuel is coming out ther high pressure pump when the ignition is switched on but nothing or a trickle at injectors. It has the benefit to be much more precise and to come, under pressure, to release the fuel in the engine unit. The injection pump takes care of pressurizing the fuel and transferring it to the injectors, and the injectors diesel engines high pressure pumps not suppose run dry.diesel fuel keep high pressure pump cool and lubricated.problem could be fuel pressure regulator in the fuel filter water separator housing.replace fuel filter see if it helps problem could be fuel pressure regulator in fuel filter housing, the fuel pressure regulator has a air bleed orifice that allows vent to the fuel tank.make sure fuel Doblo van 52plate. Is there anyone who could possibly shed any light on this problem? Vehicle starts up then cuts out straight away whether hot or cold. This problem plus others has been on going for about 8mths. ECU Marelli 6F3 EOBD 1 - problem with power noflat acceleration. Same as in the posts for EGR MAF & hose damage. 2 - Checked MAF by disconnection slight increase in acceleration but still not right. 3 - Cleaned MAF ran rough. Disconnected. I have had exactly this problem. The fault is the in directional valve at the bottom of the pump. The pump can be popped out of the bottom of the bottle. On the side of the pump there is a very small canister containing the directional valve. This can be prised off the two pipes connecting it to the pump, the valve can then be pulled into two MaLtT7.
