Spray at least 10 spurts of MAF cleaner onto the sensor and then let it air dry for an hour or until completely dry. Do not use cloth or cotton swabs to clean the sensor, as it can damage it. That said I had to replace mine at about 40,000, but it turned out the clutch plate itself was fine and likely had over 20,000 miles left on it; It was the diaphragm spring which was buggered!
